Your dashboard

Add another bot

Connect an additional Discord bot to your existing AeroNexus group.

You can connect another Discord bot from your group's Bots page. You'll give it a dashboard label, then follow the same setup as your first bot. AeroNexus hosts it for you.

Your bot token is encrypted

AeroNexus encrypts bot tokens before storing them in its database using AES-256-GCM. Each bot's encryption key is derived with scrypt from a server-side master key. This protects the token after AeroNexus encrypts it. If you expose it before then, encryption can't undo the leak. Keep your token private.

We currently recommend using only one bot because of the current state of the dashboard.

Creating and hosting multiple unnecessary bots may result in your account being terminated.

Before you start

You need an existing AeroNexus group with a bot already connected and permission to invite bots to your group's Discord server. If you're connecting your first bot, start with Create your bot.

Use a separate Discord application for each bot. Don't reuse the application or token of a bot you've already connected to AeroNexus.

Add the bot to your group

The additional bot gets a dashboard label so your team can tell it apart from your existing bot. This label doesn't change its name in Discord.

To begin:

  1. Open Bots and choose your group.
  2. Select New bot.
  3. Enter a Bot label, such as "Support bot," and select Continue.
  4. Follow Create your Discord application in the Create your bot guide, then continue through the token and invite steps on that page.

If setup can't continue, use the setup troubleshooting guide.
