Getting started

Create your group

Sign in with Discord, describe your community, and link your Roblox group.

Your group is the workspace where everything else lives: your bots, your settings, and your team's access. Creating one takes a few minutes. You sign in with Discord, pick the server your community calls home, give the group a name and type, and connect your Roblox group so both platforms stay in sync.

When you finish, AeroNexus creates the workspace and takes you straight to bot setup, which is covered in Create your bot.

What you need

Have these ready before you start, so the wizard never has to send you hunting for information:

  • A Discord account that owns or manages your community's server, with the Administrator or Manage Server permission in it, as required by Discord.

  • Your Roblox group's web address or numeric group ID.

Your Discord server needs at least 25 members before you can connect it. This keeps the platform focused on real, growing communities. If your server is brand new, grow it a little first and come back.

Sign in with Discord

AeroNexus™ uses Discord OAuth for account creations and log-ins.

To sign in:

  1. Open the dashboard and select Continue with Discord.
  2. Complete the quick security check that appears under the button, then select Continue with Discord again if needed.
  3. Authorize the Discord prompt that asks AeroNexus to identify you and see your servers.

Congratulations, you have just successfully signed in to AeroNexus!

Start the wizard

Go to New group.

Choose your Discord server

The first step asks Which Discord server owns it? This is the server your bot will run in, so choose your community's main home rather than a side server.

You have two ways to point AeroNexus at it:

  • Pick from the list. The wizard shows servers where you hold the Administrator or Manage Server permission.
  • Paste an invite instead. If your server is missing from the list, click the "I don't see the server" button. There, paste the Discord invite.

Set the name and type

The second step, asks you to Tell us more about your group. Two fields matter here:

  • Group name: how your workspace appears across AeroNexus.
  • Group type: you can learn more in Welcome to AeroNexus.

Connect your Roblox group

To get started, open your Roblox group's page in your browser. You can find it by visiting Roblox Communities and selecting your group.

AeroNexus accepts either of the following:

  • Roblox group URL: copy the full web address from your browser's address bar and paste it into the field.
  • Roblox group ID: enter the numeric ID of your Roblox group instead. You can find this number in your group's URL, typically after /communities/ or /groups/.

For example, if your group's URL is https://www.roblox.com/communities/7145469/jinsek955-studio#!/about, its group ID would be 7145469.

Make sure you're entering the correct Roblox group, especially if you own or manage multiple communities. This should be the group you intend to use alongside your Discord server.

Skipping Roblox for now

No Roblox group yet? Select Skip Roblox group during the third step and confirm. You can connect Roblox later from the dashboard.

Groups without a linked Roblox group are limited to a small allowance per account. Connecting Roblox lifts the limit, so link your group when you can.

Before you can access your group

After creating your group, you must connect your first Discord bot before you can access the rest of your AeroNexus workspace.

Next steps

  • Create your bot: create your Discord application and walk through the Get a Bot wizard.
