Manage grants
Approve people for Dashboard Roles, review access, and remove approvals.
Approve people for a Dashboard Role, review who has access, and remove an approval when someone no longer needs it.
Who can manage access
The workspace owner and people with the Administrator permission can approve or remove access.
To manage a role, open Access in the sidebar, select Permissions, choose the role, then open its Users tab.
Approve someone
People appear under Eligible people when they're in your Discord server and hold at least one Discord Role linked to this Dashboard Role. They still need your approval before they can use it.
- On the Users tab, find the person. Each person appears once, even if they hold more than one linked Discord Role.
- Use Search people to find them, or choose Granted to see people already approved for this role.
- Select Grant access next to their name. The Approved badge confirms the grant.
If the Dashboard Role includes Administrator, AeroNexus asks you to confirm that the person will have full control, including the ability to manage access for other people. Grant it only to someone you trust.
If a person or Discord Role is missing, select Refresh Discord data in the Discord Role eligibility section. The refresh can take a while, but you can keep using the dashboard while it runs. If Discord is temporarily unavailable, you can still review and remove existing approvals, but wait to grant new access until the connection returns.
See who has access
Use these views to review approvals:
- On a role's Users tab, choose Granted to see people approved for that role.
- On the Permissions page, each Dashboard Role shows its number of approved people.
- On the Overview page, Approved people shows the total across all roles.
A person's access can include permissions from several Dashboard Roles. See how access works to understand how those permissions combine.
Remove someone's access
- Open the role's Users tab and find the person. Choose Granted to narrow the list to approved people.
- Select Remove access next to their name. The Approved badge clears when the removal is complete.
This removes only that person's approval for this Dashboard Role. They keep permissions from any other Dashboard Role they can still use.
Changing a Discord Role can affect everyone who holds it. To remove one person's access to one Dashboard Role, use Remove access.
When access is removed automatically
AeroNexus removes a grant if the person leaves your server or no longer holds any Discord Role linked to that Dashboard Role. Changing the group's Discord server removes all grants. The Recent access changes panel on the Overview page shows when someone loses access this way.
Automatic removal deletes the approval. If the person rejoins or gets a linked Discord Role again, they won't regain dashboard access automatically. Someone with access must select Grant access again.
Pause access for everyone
The workspace owner can turn off the Access switch at the top of the Overview page. This signs everyone else out but keeps their approvals. Turn the switch back on to restore access for people whose approvals are still valid. Only the owner can change this switch.
Use the switch to pause access for everyone. To remove one person's access, select Remove access on their Dashboard Role instead.
Review recent changes
The Recent access changes panel on the Overview page shows recent approvals, removals, and role permission changes. Check it after making changes to confirm access matches what you intended.
