Manage your reminders
Review upcoming reminders, cancel one, or replace a reminder when plans change.
Run /reminder list to see your upcoming reminders on the bot you're using.
The list is private. You can open a reminder to read its full note or remove
it before delivery begins.
Open your list
Return to a server channel where you can use the bot that created the
reminder, then run /reminder list.
The bot opens Your reminders, with the soonest first. Each entry shows its position, a countdown, and a shortened description. Use the arrow buttons to move between pages; each page holds up to five entries.
If the list is empty, you can create a reminder. Delivered and removed reminders don't appear here, and there's no history or trash view. Check your DMs for delivered reminders.
Open one reminder in detail
Select an entry from Choose a reminder. Its details show your full note, the exact delivery time and countdown under When, its age under Created, and the original channel under From.
Select Back to return to the list without changing anything. If an entry
has become unavailable, run /reminder list again to refresh the menu.
Remove a reminder
Check the note and delivery time before confirming. Removal can't be undone.
- Run
/reminder listand select the reminder in Choose a reminder. - Select Remove.
- On Remove this reminder?, review the note and time.
- Select Yes, remove it to delete it, or Cancel to keep it.
After removal, the refreshed list appears and the reminder no longer counts toward your quota. Cancel returns to its details without changing it.
Removal locks when delivery starts
Once the bot starts sending a reminder, Remove becomes unavailable. You can't cancel a delivery that's already in progress. Remove or replace a reminder before it's due if you no longer want it.
Editing means removing and recreating
You can't change a saved reminder's time or wording. Replace it instead.
- Remove the old reminder using the steps above.
- Run
/remindmewith the new time and description. - Check the private confirmation to make sure the new reminder is correct.
Your menu belongs to you alone
Only you can use the reminder menu you opened. Someone else trying its
controls is asked to run /reminder list for their own list. Other members
can't read your private command response.
Each bot has a separate list. A reminder created with one bot doesn't appear on another, and removing it doesn't affect reminders on your other bots. Your combined quota still applies across bots.
