Celebrate boosts

Thank members when they start boosting or celebrate every boost.

Thank members for boosting a linked Discord server. Send a private thank-you, a public celebration, or both. Each message has its own Send when choice, so you can decide how often to recognize a member's support.

Choose which boosts to celebrate

Under Event options, use Send when to choose between the start of a member's boosting streak and every boost they add.

Send whenWhen your message sends
A member starts boostingWhen the member starts a new boosting streak. Additional boosts during that streak don't trigger it.
Every boostWhen the streak starts and whenever the member adds another boost during it.

If a member stops boosting completely and later starts again, both choices recognize the new streak.

For example, choose A member starts boosting for a personal DM and Every boost for a channel celebration. The first boost triggers both messages; an additional boost during the same streak triggers only the channel celebration.

AeroNexus automatically filters duplicate reports of the same boost. You don't need to configure this. Separate saved messages can still send for that boost when their Send when choices match.

Create your thank-you

In your group's dashboard, open your bot and go to Welcome Messages > Boost messages. Then create a message:

  1. Select Create a new message.
  2. Write your thank-you under Message text. Use {{user.display}} for the member's display name and {{server.name}} for the server's name.
  3. Under Event options, choose A member starts boosting or Every boost.
  4. Under Delivery, choose Member's DMs or Server Channel. For a DM, select the Source servers whose boosts you want to celebrate. For a channel post, choose a channel in the server being boosted.
  5. Under Appearance, choose Container with accent or Plain text.
  6. Check the preview and select Create.

Boost messages have no Include bot accounts switch because bots don't boost servers. Invite variables aren't available for boosts; use member, server, and general placeholders instead.

Read choose destinations for the shared DM and channel rules. You can save up to three boost messages and arrange them with slots and order.

Make the thanks personal

Keep the focus on the member's support. Here's a public celebration:

Thank you, {{user.display}}, for boosting {{server.name}}!
We appreciate your support.

For a private message at the start of a boosting streak, try:

Hi {{user.username}}, thank you for boosting {{server.name}}!
We're glad you're part of the community.

For Every boost, use wording that works for both the first boost and any additional boosts. A message that says "another boost" would also appear at the start of the streak.

Test without spending a boost

Use Simulation to send your saved boost messages to your own Discord account. You don't need to buy or apply a boost, and testing doesn't change your boosting status.

Welcome Messages must be on, your bot must be online, and you must belong to the selected test server. Choose Simulate boost, then check Discord and the result banner. Follow preview with simulation for the full testing steps and what the results mean.

Next steps

Add a welcome for new members or a farewell for departures. If a thank-you doesn't arrive, follow when messages don't arrive.
