Staying accurate over time
Check pending joins, restore paused tracking, and understand what happens after an interruption.
If tracking is interrupted, your saved history remains available. Check your bot's Invite Tracker health message to see whether it needs a server connection, a permission change, or more time to resolve a join.
If a join is pending
A pending join has been recorded but doesn't yet have a final attribution outcome. This can happen while the bot reconnects or waits for usable invite information.
Check Activity again later. The join can receive an inviter if the information becomes sufficient, or finish as unconfirmed if it doesn't. Pending doesn't guarantee that credit will be recovered.
If tracking is paused
Open your bot's Invite Tracker area and follow the health message. These are the main items to check:
| Problem | What to do |
|---|---|
| No main server linked | Connect the main Discord server for this bot |
| Missing Manage Server | Give the bot Manage Server in Discord |
| Missing Server Members intent | Enable Server Members intent for the bot's application in the Discord Developer Portal |
| Bot unavailable | Bring the bot online and check the dashboard again |
| Tracking switched off | Turn on Invite Tracker when you're ready to resume |
During guided setup, select Check again after fixing the problem. Your bot must be ready before you can continue.
Restore tracking promptly if people are joining. Saved history stays available, but activity missed during an interruption may not receive invite credit. Joins while Invite Tracker is switched off aren't recorded or credited later.
After a restart or invite change
The bot refreshes its starting invite information when the server becomes available again or an invite is created or deleted. Tracking then continues from the available information.
You don't need to reset the leaderboard or recreate settings after a restart. Existing decisions and bonus adjustments stay saved. A gap that can't be resolved leaves the affected joins unconfirmed rather than assigning an inviter without enough information.
If Discord logs are missing
Check the log channel and the bot's permissions using post-join logs. A missing Discord notice doesn't by itself mean the join is missing from saved activity.
Look in Activity before making an adjustment. Fixing a log destination doesn't replay notices that were missed.
Next steps
Review activity to check the saved outcomes, or read when no credit is given to explain a final unconfirmed join.
