Share and manage embeds

Copy permanent preview links, choose a destination, update saved embeds, and remove links you no longer need.

Every published embed has one permanent link. You can copy it from the editor or the group's embed list, and keep using it after changing the name, layout, or destination website.

Share in Discord

After a successful Create or Save, select Copy link and paste the URL into your Discord message. Share the main embed URL rather than its component JSON URL.

The dashboard preview reflects your current draft. After saving, allow up to 15 seconds for AeroNexus to clear the cache, then send the link to share the new version. Messages you've already sent in Discord won't update.

Published links and their component data are accessible without signing in. Spoiler settings hide content visually; they don't restrict access to it. Don't include private ticket details or other sensitive information.

Show text instead of a long URL

Use a masked link to display clickable text instead of the full address:

[Your announcement text](https://embed.aero.nexus/0199a210-7c00-7000-8000-000000000001)

Replace the example URL with your own saved embed link. Put the visible text inside square brackets and the URL immediately afterward in parentheses. Wrapping the whole message in * makes it italic.

You can split a sentence across several masked links. For example, the D in Discover. Connect. Grow. can link to your Discord invite, the i to a video, and the remaining scover. Connect. Grow. to your AeroNexus embed. The visible text still reads as one sentence, but each piece has its own destination.

Masked links hide the printed URL; they don't automatically suppress its preview. Discord decides which preview cards to display based on the links, permissions, and viewer settings. This technique doesn't guarantee that every link produces a card. See Discord's masked-link guide.

Generate your sharing message

Enter your text and published AeroNexus embed link below. Optional: Add a Discord invite and up to three extra links. The generator assigns the next letter to each destination, then links the rest of your text to the embed. Spaces and emoji stay together. Use enough text to leave at least one visible character for each destination.

Build your sharing message.

Use one line. Each extra destination takes the next letter; the remaining text links to your embed.

Paste the permanent link from Copy link in your dashboard.

Extra links (up to 3)

Example links demonstrate the format. Replace them with your own links before sharing.

Paste the permanent embed.aero.nexus link from Copy link in your dashboard.

Select Copy message and paste directly into Discord. Don't wrap the generated message in a code block: code blocks display the Markdown syntax instead of formatting it. This tool formats your message in your browser; it doesn't publish an embed or post to Discord.

To suppress a specific link's automatic preview, wrap its URL in angle brackets, such as <https://example.com>. Don't wrap the AeroNexus embed URL this way when you want its preview to appear. This differs from using a masked link to replace the visible URL with text. See Discord's guide to disabling automatic embeds.

Choose what visitors open

The optional Destination website lives under Link settings. Enter a complete HTTP or HTTPS URL and save the embed to apply it.

When someone opens the shared embed link in a browser, AeroNexus shows a confirmation page with the destination and a Continue button. Visitors choose whether to continue. Without a destination, the page explains that the link was created to share a Discord preview and has no website to open. The browser page doesn't render the editor's full Discord preview.

Each component's Button destination is separate from the shared link's destination website. Changing one doesn't update the others. The public page also includes a report-abuse link for reporting the embed.

Find and update an embed

Use Search embeds… to filter the group's list by name. Sort by Newest first, Oldest first, or A–Z. The date sorts use creation time rather than the time of the latest edit.

Select an embed or its Open button to return to the editor. Make your changes and select Save. Unsaved edits stay in the draft; they don't replace the published version. Renaming or saving keeps the existing URL.

People with view access can open saved embeds and copy their links. They need manage access to edit or remove them.

Remove an embed

In the group's embed list, select the trash button for the embed and confirm the removal. Removal deletes the saved embed, and its shared link stops serving the preview after the cached page is cleared. Missing embeds on the public embed website lead to its homepage.

Removing an embed frees a place in the group's and owner's quotas. An embed created afterward gets a new link. Removing an embed doesn't remove its preview from messages you've already sent in Discord.
